I'm really really happy with the way they turned out, most people said that it could be a print O_o I love me some Calvin and Hobbes, that's for sure :3

I used sharpie ultra fine markers for the blackline and just normal sharpie markers for the coloring.

I am not Bill Watterson, nor do I own Calvin and Hobbes.

Painting on shoes is a fun job haha, what I would suggest is making a pair for yourself first if you haven't already. It's how I started and it makes for free advertising! I use acrylic paints and these awesome paint pens called Uni Posca Paint Pens. Search around and I bet you could buy them online, though it might be expensive if you're shipping to Brazil haha.

These are awesome!!! I LOVE C&H so much! I hpe to get a tattoo at some point. Wish I had a pair of these though.

Is there a way to make sure the colours don't run if they get soaked at all?

Now that would be an epic tatoo. If you spray a stain/water resistant spray on before you draw on the canvas before it helps prevent that.

Thanks I've been wanting to toy with gratifying my shoes for some time (not for sale but for my own incessant needs to draw on things lol) but would hate to put so much effort and love into something and then the crappy UK weather ruin it all.

I already have 12 tattoos my latest being a Dr Horrible one (if you don't know it I recommend youtubing the full version; only 45 minutes long) but C&H I have loved going on 18 years now but I need it to be the perfect image and there are so many to chose from. If I had foresight I would've just dedicated one arm to them entirely so I wouldn't have to choose lol.
